THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND CORAVYN GROUP

Who You're Working With

More than 46 years of professional experience. A practical approach to helping owners accomplish their goals.

Coravyn Group is a relatively new business, but the experience behind it has been developing for more than 46 years.

I'm Randy Whistler, Principal Associate and founder of Coravyn Group. Throughout my professional career, I've worked in emergency services, information technology, organizational management, and facilities and maintenance. While those fields may seem unrelated, they've given me something particularly valuable: experience looking at problems from several different perspectives.

I've been the person responsible for doing the work, the person managing the people doing the work, and the person accountable for the results.

During my career with the State of Kansas, my responsibilities included managing people working from 108 offices across all 105 counties. That involved coordinating personnel and resources, overseeing budgets, working with vendors, addressing operational problems, and maintaining accountability across a geographically dispersed organization.

My subsequent work in facilities and maintenance brought those management principles into a more hands-on environment, dealing directly with buildings, equipment, repairs, contractors, and the everyday challenges of keeping properties operational.

The common thread throughout my career has been straightforward: understand the problem, identify the desired result, assemble the appropriate resources, and find a practical way forward.

What That Means for Your Project
When you bring Coravyn into a project, you're not simply hiring someone to coordinate contractors or keep track of a schedule.

You're bringing in someone who approaches the project from the owner's perspective.

Before recommending a course of action, I want to understand what you're trying to accomplish, why it matters to your business, what resources are available, and what limitations we need to work within.

From there, we can evaluate alternatives, identify potential problems, involve the appropriate specialists, and develop a practical plan.

I don't claim to have every answer. I'm not an architect, engineer, or general contractor. When specialized expertise is necessary, part of my responsibility is recognizing that need and helping bring the right professionals into the conversation.

I believe good project management is as much about knowing which questions to ask as it is about knowing the answers.

Why Coravyn?
Large organizations often have dedicated project managers, facilities departments, purchasing specialists, and technical personnel to help them evaluate projects and make decisions.

Smaller businesses and property owners frequently have the same kinds of problems without those resources readily available.

That's where Coravyn fits.

We provide practical project management, owner representation, and facilities consulting tailored to the needs of smaller organizations.

Whether you're considering an improvement to your property, evaluating contractor proposals, coordinating repairs, or simply trying to determine whether an idea is practical, our purpose is to help you make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.

**You know your business. My job is to help you accomplish what you want to do with it.**

That's the experience and philosophy behind Coravyn Group.
